The stones line up one after another. Long since abandoned, it's the one place in the city that's sure to be empty. A place to think, to relax, to get away. A place where nobody will judge you. Old statues are scattered throughout, works of art appreciated only by the birds and me. I make my way towards the forgotten angel. Her features were weathered away long ago, her face pocked by the rain, her finger broken and lying on the ground. And then I heard it.
